Shelley embarked on her journey in healthcare back in 2000, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to serving the elderly community at a Long Term Care facility in Kelowna. It was during this formative period that she discovered her profound passion for geriatrics and recognized the imperative to continually elevate her expertise.
In 2007, Shelley's dedication culminated in her attainment of a Licensed Practical Nurse qualification, symbolizing her steadfast dedication to delivering care infused with dignity and reverence for every individual. Building upon this foundation, she embarked on a transformative path, enriching her skill set by completing an Advanced Footcare Nurse course in 2010, where she honed her craft at two local LTC facilities.
In a testament to her relentless pursuit of excellence, Shelley recently undertook a refresher course through Foot Canada Training in the fall of 2023, ensuring her skills remain at the pinnacle of industry standards. This relentless pursuit of knowledge and commitment to professional growth epitomizes Shelley's unwavering dedication to delivering the highest caliber of care to those entrusted to her charge.
